What We Offer At New Visions Career
There's no formal training program or minimal education requirement for home health aides. As the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics notes, many have a high school diploma or GED, even though it's not required. They usually receive on-the-job training from other health care professionals, including nurses and fellow home health aides.
Some states, however, require formal education and background checks for home health aides. CNAs must complete a formal training program, offered by community colleges and vocational and technical schools, as well as by hospitals and other health care facilities. Prospective CNAs must learn basic principles of nursing care, complete several hours of supervised clinical experience and pass a state licensing exam.
Home Health Aide Training
Classes are offered during the day and evening. We are committed to helping our students meet their career goals.
Hundred of our graduates are successfully employed as Home Health Aides and Certified Nurse Assistant/Aides.
Upgrade From CNA To HHA
Your decision to go into the Home Health Aide (HHA) field is highly commendable! You will be personally affecting the well-being of others by assisting them with their daily life.

Though an HHA job requires a large amount of responsibilities, the personal fulfillment and satisfaction you receive from helping those who need your direct-care as an HHA are great.
Nursing Aide (CNA)
A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, works under the supervision of nurses to deliver high quality care to patients.
As a CNA, this job requires long hours and many responsibilities, but caring for patients on a daily basis provides some of the greatest rewards any profession could offer.

Not to mention, the skills you learn as a certified nursing assistant can prepare you for a long-term career in the nursing field.
Upgrade From CNA To HHA
The requirements for renewing a lapsed licensed can vary from one state to another. Many states will require you to take a CNA refresher course if your certification has lapsed.
This course is intended to provide you with a re-introduction to the certified nursing assistant field if you have not worked in the field for awhile.
